THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
You might remember last month we were lucky enough to review the Playskool Ball & Gear Centre. That post features a link for 50% cashback on Playskool toys which is active until the end of October. Now the lovely folk at Playskool have asked me to run a giveaway of the Ball & Gear Centre too.
The Ball & Gear Centre is suitable for babies from 9 months up (although as you can see, our then-five-month-old rather liked it too!).
For a chance to win, simply leave a comment on this post, telling me what toy you’d like to get for your kids for Christmas.
The competition is open to UK residents only. Entries will be accepted until midnight on Saturday 23rd October. The winner will be selected using a random number generator and will be contacted by email on Sunday 24th October. If they have not responded within five days then a new winner will be drawn. The prize will be sent directly to the winner from Playskool.
THIS COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED

The Ball and Gear centre would be great. I want to try and track down as many toys that my husband and I had as kids using ebay, real toys that stimulate imagination, too many toys these days are about flashing lights and noises.
I wholeheartedly agree, some of the best toys in our house have been the simple things like wooden blocks!
Matchbox Stinky the Garbage Truck for my son and the Ball & Gear Centre for my six month old
Oooh the Ball and Gear looks like a great toy for Max, cause and effect n all that, which is just what he needs.
The older one, he’ll be getting an iPod Touch for his Christmas… if I can manage to get enough saved in the next month! lol 🙂
My little Boy would love that Playskool Ball & Gear Centre, Hopefully he will get it (yn). And I will be trying to get my older son an Xbox for Christmas.
A Ball & Gear Centre
To clarify, saying that you’d give a Ball & Gear Centre doesn’t give you more chance of winning; you can put whatever toy you like as I’m actually looking for ideas of other things to get my kids! 🙂
Some ELC Happyland bits for my little girl! Hoping it’ll help with the imaginative play!
A ride on toy for my youngest, and keeping with the theme, a first bike for my eldest.
I would love a dog push along wooden baby walker for my little one.
The winner, comment number 19.
A play kitchen for my 18month old daughter and toy story scaletrix for my 5 year old son
my daughter is nearly 20 months and loves imagination play like feeding her teddies and smelling flowers in the book its so cute im thinking she would like a little people dolls house the interactive one, she would get so much from it and it also closes over so mummy can keep it all tidy when not in use
My youngest is DS and Mario/Luigi crazy so I’d love to get him a Wii with lots of games and then other bits and pieces. Ideally he wants a dolls house with lots of people and furniture – oh my! My eldest wants PS3 games.
Not sure about the youngest one but K (who is 2 just after Christmas) is rather obsessed with Disney / Pixar Cars – one of his first words was KAAA so I’d have to say a Disney Cars Aqua Draw – hopefully it would teach him to draw on the mat instead of the walls!
I would love to get a shopping basket and loads of pretend foods so they can play shops!
Stinky the Garbage Truck seems to be top of mine’s list at the mo
lego, lego and more lego for my son! He’s crazy about it
Playskool Ball & Gear Centre
Toy Story goodies
Remote control steam along thomas
I would love to get my little one the ball and gear centre for christmas, he will love it! My little girl is doll obsessed at the moment so i’m sure santa will be bringing her a new one!
Small will probably want lego. Big is a toughie – at nearly 11 she is starting to feel she’s too big for toys. Am guessing that we’ll be able to find something baby doll related that will tempt her though. Smallest will be a year old. Think maybe some wooden blocks would be good for her, or possibly xylophone type musical instrument 🙂
oh wow this is just wat i need to help my son with his eye hand co-ordination
The ball and gear centre looks like a great christmas present for my daughter.
Playskool Ball & Gear Centre is definately on the list
I’m determined to win one of these for Li’l Mister! I’m absolutely loving the range.

I haven’t found the perfect present for my little boy yet but I think he’s love one of these!
This might sound a little cliche, but I really do want to win a Playskool Ball & Gear Centre for my little girl, Lola. She’s 7 months & she would LOVE this 🙂

I’m going to get my daughter an upsy daisy interactive dolly 🙂
I’m not sure yet but looking through these comments as given me some ideas!
Funnily enough, I would love a Playskool Ball & Gear Centre for my very curious nine month old. This would be just perfect to stimulate his curiosity.
Playmobil school for the eldest, anything that involves expending alot of energy for the youngest!!
Well, i wouldnt say no to the playskool ball and gear centre.
My son wants some toy story things x
My 2yr old old is proving to be a great ‘motherer’ of my new baby so for her I will be looking for doll with pushchair and other accessories.
Playskool Ball & Gear Centre would be great for my baby boy.
I would love the ball and gear centre for my inquisitive little girl 🙂 xx
HHHmmmmm what to get an only just 1 year old? I’ll get some Duplo and some musical instruments i think. The ball and gear centre wd be fab though!!
On the list are Brio trains and track.
The Ball & Gear Centre looks amazing.
Thomas the Tank engine play set for one, Ball & Gear Centre would be great for the other.
I’m getting him some Toy Story 3 goodies.
I really want some lovely wooden toys for my youngest, liek the old pull along wooden ducks or the push along trollies with all the blocks in. I love how much easier it is to interact with your baby when playing with something simple rather than an electronic, singing, dancing & flashing toy which redirects their attention.
^_^
older ones- flicker scooter
younger- Toy story interactive buzz and woody, slinky the dog and lotso!
I would love the ball and gear centre for my daughter for xmas xxx
The Ball and Gear centre would be great, but I’m definately looking for some Djeco’s solid wood toys for my little uns

Fisher-Price Little People Pop ‘n’ Surprise Train
These are just ideas I have to say – would love to get them all just xmas budget is pretty tight this year
i would love to give my 2 yr old some kind of work bench he is always following daddy around asking to play with his screw drivers and hammers much to my dislike as its my furniture that gets it would be great to get him some plastic tools and a bench just like daddys but much better for my house 🙂 he would be soo happy helping daddy without getting moaned at by me x
ELC Martian Moonhouse is looking good at the mo.
We got this for our toddler for his birthday in August and it’s brilliant, I highly recommend it. It’s great for imaginative play – the mummy alien goes to work in the car etc. – like a dolls house for boys.
Fisher Price Peek-a-Boo Leaves Mobile for my first grandchild – due on 2nd December. This is going to be a very special Christmas for us all !
My oldest (age 4) wants a climbing frame, my middle child (age 3) wants Toy Story goodies, and at the moment we’re really struggling with what to get my youngest (2 weeks). I’ve read your review of the Ball and Gear centre and think that sounds great and it’s something we haven’t already got!I’ve got 3 boys so it’s so difficult finding new toys.
My little boy is just one and he loves balls! Big or small he loves to throw them, kick them and chase them! So I think Santa might be bringing him a selection!!
My elder son is into Ben 10 everything at the moment, just when I thought I was being extra sensible getting organised buying everything Scooby Doo related… oh well.
My little son postman pat.
Thanks for the competition!
